杜姓男子為警方列管慣竊，其專挑地方宮廟下手，日前騎著偷來的機車行經基隆市安樂路一段、成功路二路口時，被巡邏員警發現，即騎車狂飊逃逸。警追至至仁愛區獅球路10巷的無尾巷內，終將其攔下盤查；並自其車內起出鐵鎚、美工刀、黑色塑膠袋等犯案工具。警訊後將依竊盜罪嫌移送法辦，並擴大追查是否涉及其他竊案。
基隆市警察局第四分局安定派出所警員譚如軍、李健鳴、黃竹涵，日前執行巡邏勤務行經安樂路一段、成功路二路口時，發現曾涉及多起宮廟竊案的杜姓男子（42歲）行蹤，員警隨即上前盤查，不料杜嫌見警馬上騎機車逃逸，員警也馬上尾隨其後，追至仁愛區獅球10巷的無尾巷內，終將其攔下盤查。
警方調查發現，杜姓竊嫌曾涉嫌多起廟宇竊案，此次所騎乘的機車及號牌均已報竊在案，但他卻仍狡辯機車是老婆叫他去騎的，並非偷竊而來。警方進一步查出杜嫌犯案時，均先偷來機車再將車牌換成另一張偷來的機車號牌，然後再在基隆各地區尋找無人看守的宮廟伺機下手。隨後警其犯案機車內起出鐵鎚、美工刀、黑色塑膠袋等犯案工具。
